Dolphin Encounters (Swim)

Explore an island dedicated to experiencing sea life. With Dolphin Encounters on Blue Lagoon Island you will have the opportunity to swim with dolphins, interact with sea lions, visit the stingrays, or enjoy different land excursions! It is a great experience for adults and kids.

Checking out some teeth.

Begin your day by hailing a cab to cross the long bridge that connects Nassau to Paradise Island. As you exit your taxi, you will be near the counter for Blue Lagoon Island. At the counter, you will be able to purchase tickets for the activities that you would like to experience.

You will be issued wrist bands. Keep this on you as it will let you know the time, and location of your activity. Take a short boat ride over to Blue Lagoon Island. Once you have arrived, helpful staff will immediately assist with any questions.

Once you have settled in your location, receive a brief tutorial about the animals, the park, and any safety procedures. After which, you will get changed.

Smooch!!

Lockers are available for your clothing and valuables. Don your life preserver (and wetsuit if the water is chilly), and jump in and swim with these animals. You will have a unique chance to get up close and spend personal time with these animals. Photographers will take both pictures and video of your encounter as you dance, twirl, feed, kiss, hug, and fly when the dolphins give you a gentle push!

Say good-bye to your new critter friends and head on over to the gift shop where staff will help you select the pictures and/or videos that you would like to purchase.

If you would like, you can take the boat back to Paradise Island or spend additional time on Blue Lagoon Island. The whole island is dedicated to Dolphin Encounters. As such, once there, the whole island is for you (and other guests). They have giant water toys in the cove, grills for food, drinks, and so much more. Prices vary depending on which package and activity you choose.
