Trajan Baths

One of the inner chambers of the ancient bathhouses.

Along with Trajan’s Market and Forum, the emperor had spent money to design the largest bathhouse for the common people of Rome. Though much of the bath is in ruin and what is left is very little, it’s amazing to get a grasp of how large this bath house was. To build his monument for the citizens, he had decided to cover another great monument which in turn became the underground foundation; Nero’s Domus Aurea to be exact.

This is free to roam around and explore.
