Anthony’s Keys Resort

Anthony’s Keys Resort

The resort is centered on snorkeling and diving but there is so much to do on the property! Everything from presentations from a guide about the local fish you’re going to see, to scuba diving, snorkeling and paddle boarding, swimming with dolphins, shopping, sightseeing, or just kicking up your feet and relaxing. This resort is an amazing location to visit while on this beautiful island.

Once you check in, attend a briefing on what there is to do while on the resort. Know that during your time there, all food will be taken care of from morning until night with a variety of choices each meal. Most of the rooms are going to be on Anthony’s Key private island. A small water taxi will transport you to and from your bungalow with a stunning view! Attached to the bungalow is a gathering spot for you and your bungalow next door; complete with hammocks and a table. Do note that some bungalows have a shared space, while a few have their own. When selecting rooms, there are different options.

A beautiful day for a picture!

On site, there is a museum with artifacts detailing the history of the Island of Roatán. It houses really cool pieces about the first people on the island, along with some information about the corals and ocean life. Anthony’s Key Resort also have their own shops, photography building, and supplies to snorkel or scuba dive. Note: I found the shops at Anthony’s Key offered significantly better prices on identical items found in the shops in town! Anthony’s Key is also home to local dolphins. To visit them, take the same water taxi used to get to the bungalows to get to the key with the dolphins. There are also places where paddle boards can be picked up and locations where divers can walk into the water from the shore for their dives, and many beautiful locations where kicking up your feet, settling into a hammock, and watching the sun drift over and create masterpieces each day. This resort is in a beautiful location in the Caribbean!
